Downpipe Unblocking

Gutters can not only be blocked along the horizontal guttering units but also on the downpipe.  These get blocked over time as a result of large debris or animals falling in and getting stuck.

What is downpipe unblocking?

Your downpop is the vertical pipe that takes all the water from your roof down to ground level and empties it into the drainage system. 

Downpipe unblocking is cleaning this vertical pipe of all debris and refuge allowing the water to flow again.

How do I know if I need it?

Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if it's your gutter or downpipe that is blocked.  The best way to tell is to see if water is running over the edge of the gutter unit at the point it meets the downpipe.  If it is then it is likely the downpipe that is the problem

How Long does it take to complete the work?



Providing there are no serious issues then the unblocking work is usually very quick and we can be done within the hour.  If the blockage is caused by damage then this could be longer as the damage will need to be repaired.
