Is My Gutter Blocked?

The biggest giveaway to a debris buildup in your gutters is water leaking over the edge when it's raining.  However moss also builds up over time and this causes leaves and bigger debris to stick in place and not properly flush through your guttering system.

It is important that if you suspect your gutter is blocked you get it cleaned out else it can cause significant damage to the gutting structure, or water damage to your house.

How often do my gutters need to be cleaned?

We suggest everyone get them cleaned once a year around the end of winter or early summer.  This means that any buildup of debris caused by the Autumn leaf fall and the icy weather on your guttering system will be cleaned up for summertime.

It goes without saying that you should try and block any water collecting around the area and funnel it back into the drainage system.
